October 17, 2006

ARTICLE 1: To appropriate $17,500 from the town's Stabilization Fund to make to make repairs to the front exterior of Town Hall, paint front trim, clean and treat front shingles and replace interior ceiling panels or take any other action relating thereto.
ARTICLE 1 passed, 58 to 2.

ARTICLE 2: Transfer $66,325 from the Stabilization Fund to make extraordinary repairs to the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system at Old Hammondtown School.
ARTICLE 2 passed unanimously, 60 to 0.

ARTICLE 3: Transfer $132,000 from the Stabilization Fund to pay bills from of a prior fiscal year under the Mattapoisett School Committee budget to cover transportation costs of students in Grades 7-12.
ARTICLE 3 passed unanimously, 52 to 0.

ARTICLE 4: Appropriate $156,000 to be added to the FY 2007 Budget as approved by the Annual Town Meeting of May 8-11, 2006 to cover the Elementary Schools' Special Education (SPED) budget.
ARTICLE 4 passed, 65 to 1.

ARTICLE 5: Allocate $194,454 to be added to the FY 2007 Budget as approved by the Annual Town Meeting of May 8-11, 2006, to cover additional transportation costs for the Mattapoisett Elementary Schools.
ARTICLE 5 passed unanimously, 66 to 0.

ARTICLE 6: Appropriate $22,000 to be added to the FY 2007 Budget as approved by the Annual Town Meeting of May 8-11, 2006, to cover additional Highway Department expenses.
ARTICLE 6 passed, 39 to 24.

ARTICLE 7: Transfer $62,228 from the Water Enterprise Fund to be added to the FY 2007 Budget as approved by the Annual Town Meeting of May 8-11, 2006, for Water Enterprise Fund expenses.
ARTICLE 7 passed unanimously, 63 to 0.

ARTICLE 8: Transfer $5,402 from revenues of the Sewer Enterprise Fund to be added to the FY 2007 Budget as approved by the Annual Town Meeting of May 8-11, 2006, to cover the principle on a bond for Phase I of the regional sewer project.
ARTICLE 8 passed unanimously, 63 to 0.
