Halloween Night

One Halloween night, 11-year-old Isabella and her friends Leah, Owen and Aiden had gone trick-or-treating together in their neighborhood. Aiden's dad worked for a radio station called Fun 187.1 and they had announced that there was a ghost on the loose!

The children were terrified when Aiden's father had told them the news. They did not want to go trick-or-treating that night without an adult because they thought that the ghost was in their town and they thought that the ghost was going to come to their neighborhood.

Leah's mom decided that she would go with the kids because they were thinking about their safety. After Leah, Isabella, Aiden and Owen had visited everyone in the neighborhood, they had gone back to Owen's house to eat their candy. All of the adults made their way over to Owen's house to let the kids know that the ghost wasn't even in Wabbleworth ... it was all the way in Alldertast. Also, there wasn't a real ghost -- it was a balloon that a guy had purchased the night before. Now that the children knew that they were safe, they headed home to go to bed.
