Denise W. (Pike) Nunes, 70 of New Bedford and Rochester, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in Beth Israel Hospital, Plymouth. She was the wife of Charles Nunes, Jr.
Born in Middleboro, a daughter of the late Kenyon C. and Helen F. (Ring) Pike. Denise was a longtime resident of New Bedford and Rochester. She lived most of her life in Rochester where she raised her children. She was a proud stay at home mom and wife, who loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed movies, soap operas and animals.
In addition to her husband, Denise is survived by her children, Marcy Badillo, Charles, Nunes and Regina Almedia all of New Bedford; her siblings, Kenyon, Debra, Pamela, Geraldine and Dianna; her nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Irene and Gail.
