The Marion DPW, Highway Division, is continuing the storm clean-up on public roads, sidewalks and municipal properties. Your patience is appreciated as there is substantial damage throughout town and clean-up will be a lengthy process.
If you have a tree down on your private property please contact a tree company to cut the tree and properly dispose of it.
If you have limbs and branches on your private property please hire a landscape company to clean your yard or residents may bring the storm debris to the drop-off area on Benson Brook Road. The drop-off area will be available every Saturday in November from 8 am – 3:00 pm. The drop-off is for Marion residents only, free of charge, and not available to contractors.
We ask that residents not bring storm debris and leaves to the curbside. With winter quickly approaching and other tasks that need to be completed, in unison with the storm clean-up, we simply do not have the manpower or resources to include debris from private property.
