Bike Safety Day532 viewsThe Marion Police Department sponsored a Bicycle Safety Day for children and young adults at Silvershell Beach on Saturday morning, August 2. The day included bicycle safety information, a rodeo course and certificate awards for all participants. In addition, the Marion Police Department was awarded a statewide grant by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security to provide 75 bicycle helmets during the event.
