Marion Block Party304 views: The Marion Block Party was held on Saturday, August 25, 2012, in front of the Town Hall. The family bar-b-que lasted all day, and featured a classic car display, live music, and kids activities. Proceeds from the event will go to help fund the construction of a new playground at Washburn Park and to help pay for a new thermal imager for the Marion Fire Department.
