Lions Awards258 viewsOn January 10, 2014, at the Mid-Winter Conference of District 33S, Lions Clubs International was held at the Radisson Hotel Plymouth Harbor, Plymouth, MA. International Association of Lions Clubs President Barry J. Palmer of Berowra, NSW, Australia, was guest speaker and presenter of the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award to six Mattapoisett Lions. This award, among the highest in Lionism, was earned by the recipients for outstanding dedication to Humanitarian Services within their community.
