The Derby was held at the Sippican School where scouts raced cars weighing less than 5 ounces down a sloped wooden track. Everyone cheered as the wooden cars raced down the track in packs or four. Rochester Country Fair348 viewsRochester’s Country Fair was a great success despite the cancellation of the Town Ball Game, Woodsman Show, the Block dance and the Bonfire due to EEE. The weather was perfect on Saturday as children raced frogs, climbed walls, bounced in castles and much more. Gifts To Give348 viewsOn Saturday, September 11, approximately 40 children from Marion Pack 32 Boy, Cub and Girl Scout troops, along with a dozen parents, met at New Bedford’s Gifts To Give to lend a hand to a worthy cause. Gifts to Give, located on Cove Street in New Bedford, is a non-profit agency that helps connect children and families to services that they need.
