The students, entering grades 8-11 will be at Tabor from July 15-August 17. Marion Town Party266 viewsChalk up another successful Marion Town Party as several hundred party-goers found good food and fun on the grounds of the Town House on 8/25. Children of all ages enjoyed inflatable games, climbing the rock wall, or jumping around to music. The annual party has its roots deep in the community and may have started as early at 1900. This year’s event featured live entertainment, a scavenger hunt, and lots of good food.

Massachusetts State Geography Bee266 viewsOwen Modracek, a resident of Rochester and 7th-grader at ORRJHS, has qualified to represent the Tri-Town in the Massachusetts State Geography Bee, sponsored by the National Geographic Society. Only the top 100 students in the state are invited to compete in the State GeoBee on March 29 at Elms College in Chicopee, MA. Owen won the ORRJHS Geography Bee, and then qualified by taking a state-sponsored exam. State champions then go on to compete in the National Geographic GeoBee in Washington D.C.
