Memorial Day Boat Race271 viewsThe Rochester Memorial Day Boat Race went off with very few hitches, despite the bursting of the bog flume at Grandma Hartley’s Reservoir just a couple days before the race. Great Community Picnic271 viewsThe Great Community Picnic hosted by the Mattapoisett Land Trust and Historical Museum featured great food, music, and lots of creative expression. One table was tricked out in a Jaws theme while another was filled with ladies wearing hats called “fascinators”. The fourth annual fundraiser was a sold out event. The grounds of the MLT’s Munro Preserve provided the perfect location as nearly 200 people mingled harbor side. Photo by Marilou Newell
