Family Fun Festival 371 viewsFamilies came out in record numbers to enjoy the 4th Annual Fall Free Family Fun Festival sponsored by the Mattapoisett’s Lion Club on October 19 held at Shipyard Park. Bruce Rocha of the club estimated attendance at over 400. Kids and adults alike enjoyed free face painting, bowling with pumpkins, a corn hole toss, snacks, hayrides to Ned’s Point and, yes, free pumpkins to take home. Rochester Scout371 viewsRochester Boy Scouts from Troop 31, Andrew Wronski and Austin O'Malley, took part in Wreaths Across America on December 14 at the National Cemetery in Bourne. Each year, thousands of wreaths are placed across military and veterans cemeteries to honor our America's fallen for the holidays. Rochester Troop 31 Scouts helped with this national effort to place 18,000 wreaths this year. The adorning of these graves pays tribute to the sacrifice the men and women of the armed forces pay to preserve our freedoms.

Princesses Elsa and Anna beguiled the children as well as their parents in an hour-long performance culminating in hugs and a photo session.
