Life of a Dog352 views“Clark Davis And Her Dogs” is the theme of the Marion Art Center's Fourth of July float, which will be in the Marion parade on July 5. Cecil Clark Davis (1877-1955), an animal lover, was one of Marion's most famous artist residents and is remembered for her elegant portraits. In the spirit of Cecil and her dogs, the Marion Art Center invites dog owners to participate in their festive float for the "WestMarionster Dog Show." The parade route is about two miles. Harbor Days Craze352 viewsThe town gazebo was the scene of another sultry Harbor Days this past weekend. Rows of vendors peddled their fun wares while visitors of all ages enjoyed music, conversation and the best strawberry shortcake in the world. Rochester Country Fair352 viewsRochester’s Country Fair was a great success despite the cancellation of the Town Ball Game, Woodsman Show, the Block dance and the Bonfire due to EEE. The weather was perfect on Saturday as children raced frogs, climbed walls, bounced in castles and much more. Although the weather was less than perfect on Sunday, residents lined the streets with lawn chairs and umbrellas to watch as the Hillbilly themed parade passed. Photos by Felix Perez.
