Valentine Tea320 viewsThe Marion Art Center hosted an American Girl themed Valentine Tea Party on February 6, 2010. Over 20 girls dressed in their pink and red finest enjoyed dainty finger foods, festive cupcakes, red fruit punch, and tea. Hillbilly Hoedown320 viewsA Hillbilly Dinner Dance was held at Redman Hall in Wareham on Saturday, February 27, 2010 to benefit the 11th annual Rochester Country Fair. After dinner, Twinkies were provided for dessert and The Relics provided music. Rochester Country Fair320 viewsRochester’s Country Fair was a great success despite the cancellation of the Town Ball Game, Woodsman Show, the Block dance and the Bonfire due to EEE. The weather was perfect on Saturday as children raced frogs, climbed walls, bounced in castles and much more. Although the weather was less than perfect on Sunday, residents lined the streets with lawn chairs and umbrellas to watch as the Hillbilly themed parade passed. Photos by Felix Perez.

Block Party!320 viewsIt was a little earlier than usual, but the annual Marion Block Party on August 28, 2010 went off without a hitch. Children enjoyed cotton candy, a bounce house and face-painting, while the grown-ups enjoyed conversation and good weather.
