ORR Gets Gold644 viewsOn Sunday, April 1, the Old Rochester Regional Junior High School Band received a gold medal at the Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association (MICCA) Music Festival at Foxboro High School. Seven schools throughout the state hosted this weekend-long festival. This is the first gold medal for the 78-member junior high school ensemble. The concert band will be performing at Symphony Hall on Saturday, April 21 at 10:30 am and admission is free.

The Bulldogs had a guest speaker, Neil Cooper, a former NFL player who played for the Green Bay Packers under Vince Lombardi in the 1960's. Mr. Cooper spoke about the value of the team and the lessons learned from football and Fr. Mullaney of St. Anthony's gave the team blessing.
