appointed Elisabeth “Libby” O’Neil as the new Head Librarian at the
Elizabeth Taber Library in Marion. She will take the place of Judith
Kleven who is retiring May 31 after 26 years.
Before accepting this job, O’Neil was the Youth and Community Outreach
Librarian for the Boston Public Library at Copley Square, Boston and was
the former Children’s Librarian at the South Boston Branch of the Boston
Public Library. Ms. O’Neil will start on June 3, 2013

A private neighborhood group, along with “Turtle Guy” Don Lewis and wife Sue Weiber Nourse, created a terrapin habitat restoration project knows as the turtle garden at The Cove. On Monday, Jillian read to nine classrooms at two different schools, including Sippican School in Marion. There, she read stories and discussed the enjoyment and importance of reading every day.
