Class of 2020 336 viewsGraduating seniors in the Old Rochester Regional High School Class of 2020 drove around to the back of the school building on May 28, where they were greeted by faculty and administration. After arriving in order of homeroom to ensure safe spacing, the seniors turned in textbooks and received yearbooks, a surprise COVID-19 gift bag, and a long-sleeve t-shirt decorated with the mascot Bulldog and the word ‘Quarantine’ spelled across the front. Children and their grandparents had fun playing bean-bag toss, bocce, posing with the Three Stooges, and more. The face-painting and petting zoo areas were a complete hit! Santa Arrives335 viewsMattapoisett held its annual holiday celebration and tree lighting on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Shipyard Park. The rain couldn't dampen holiday spirits as visitors enjoyed delicious food and listened to Christmas music performed by the Showstoppers. Visitors enjoyed Marion buildings festively decorated for the holiday season. There were 12 stops on the tour, including 5 private residences and several historical town buildings.
