Police Dedication302 viewsThe public was invited to a building dedication and ceremony for the new Marion police station on July 10, 2010. The town appropriated $3.8 million for the new building, which replaces the old police station on Spring Street. Among those in attendance were Police Chief Lincoln Miller, the Marion police department, the Board of Selectmen, Town Administrator Paul Dawson, Plymouth County Sheriff Joseph McDonald and members of the Police Station Building Committee. Harbor Days Craze302 viewsThe town gazebo was the scene of another sultry Harbor Days this past weekend. Rows of vendors peddled their fun wares while visitors of all ages enjoyed music, conversation and the best strawberry shortcake in the world.
