Visitors enjoyed Marion buildings festively decorated for the holiday season. There were 12 stops on the tour, including 5 private residences and several historical town buildings. Ready, Set, Go!303 viewsOn Sunday, March 21, 2010 The Marion Cub Scouts Pack 32 revived the annual soap-box derby after a three-year absence. Scouts raced carts down Holmes Street in Marion for a chance to help make their den the fastest in the pack. Tropical Storm Earl303 viewsBoth Mattapoisett and Marion docks were busy spots last week when the National Weather Service issued a Hurricane Warning to the region. Plymouth county, in addition to Cape Cod, the Islands, and Bristol county, prepared for Hurricane Earl, a category 3 hurricane that stood the potential to make landfall in southeastern Massachusetts.
