Firefighters Memorial 320 viewsEight firefighters – four from Rochester – followed bagpiper Iain Massie to the Firefighters Memorial the morning of 8/24 to begin the inaugural four-day, 316-mile long Southern New England Brotherhood Ride, organized by Rochester Firefighter Andy Weigel. Octopurr Fest320 viewsIt’s All About the Animals held its 5th annual Octopurr Fest on October 6. The fundraiser featured food, games, music, and craft booths. Owner and operator of the no-kill shelter, Pam Robinson, said 100 percent of all proceeds would go directly to the care of the felines.
