Poker Run429 viewsMotorcyclists gathered Sunday morning, September 20, in the parking lot of ORR to ride in the third annual Poker Run for Alex Pateakos. Alex is a five-year-old Marion boy who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Money raised by the poker run will benefit Alex, and Families of SMA, a group that helps families like the Pateakos live their lives as close to normal as possible. The rain couldn't dampen holiday spirits as visitors enjoyed delicious food and listened to Christmas music performed by the Showstoppers. Children made their own ornaments and hung them on the Christmas tree. They also danced with Rudolph and Frosty and shared their Christmas wishes with Santa Claus. Photo by Felix Perez.
