Music was provided by Felonious Funk, and party-goers enjoyed a wide array of finger foods and fine spirits. Friendly conversation lingered over the silent auction tables, which offered original oil paintings, handmade felted purses, memberships to the Wareham YMCA and the Marion Art Center, and plenty of gift certificate to area businesses. The ceremony took place at the Home of Jazz at the Lincoln Center in New York on December 9, 2009. Mr. Wheeler is a 2004 graduate of Old Rochester Regional, and received a Bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, in Studio Composition from SUNY/Purchase in 2008.

Christmas Swim421 viewsA 2009 Christmas morning swim benefitted Helping Hands and Hooves, a Mattapoisett non-profit organization dedicated to therapeutic horseback riding for adults with disabilities. 40 swimmers and at least 50 onlookers participated in the 2009 swim.
