Project Linus378 viewsStudents from Old Rochester Regional and the Mattapoisett Council on Aging joined together on May 13 to donate their blankets to the Boston-area chapter of Project Linus, an organization that gives blankets to sick and emotionally-distressed children. Hosted by the Mattapoisett Lions Club every year, the triathlon takes racers .25 miles from the shore of Town Beach and back, 10 miles bicycling through Mattapoisett, and 5K through the village around Ned’s Point Lighthouse.
