Coyotee Attack434 viewsA Mattapoisett mini-schnauzer named "Stella" is lucky to be alive this week after a pack of coyotes attacked her on January 4, 2010. Her owners, Kristen and Chris Querim, and their son Matthew, made a commotion to scare off the coyotes and then raced Stella to the vet, where she was treated for deep puncture wounds and lacerations. Helene Craver Retires434 viewsMarion Town Hall employees got together for a farewell party last week, in honor of 23-year employee Helene Craver. Ms. Craver’s last scheduled day was August 24. As the administrative assistant to the Board of Selectmen, Ms. Craver is a wealth of Marion information, but she is perhaps best known as the candy source at the Town House. The Wanderer wishes her all the best in her retirement. Photo courtesy of Judy Mooney.
