Salute to Scouts458 viewsMembers of Mattapoisett Boy Scout Troop 53 were recently commended by the Mattapoisett Board of Selectmen for their ongoing collection efforts in support of Cape Cod Cares for the Troops. The troop was given a citation from the U.S. Air Force along with an American flag that was flown over Kuwait. Bikes, Bikes, Bikes!458 viewsThe Third Annual Pan Mass Challenge Kids Tri-Town Ride attracted several hundred young bicyclist to the ORR campus on Saturday morning, May 16, for a bike rally to help defeat cancer. Proceeds from the event will go to several charities in the state such as the Jimmy Fund and Dana- Farber Cancer Institute to assist in cancer research.
