The Circus, which featured highflying aerial acts, animal acts and plenty of clowns played four shows under the big top during its two-day stay. While there they enjoyed the first snow of the season in the first week of October as well as a visit to the black sand beached near Grótta which is just east of ReykjavÃk. The black sand on the beaches are made from lava which has been tumbled by the surf for centuries.
