MBTA Commuter Rail107 viewsThe initial group of brand-new MBTA Commuter Rail cars destined for Rochester were in West Wareham on June 16, nearing the end of a long journey that took the cars from South Korea where they were constructed to Baltimore, Maryland, where they were put on rails and eventually brought to Massachusetts and welcomed by a crew of MBTA personnel. Marion Natural History Museum107 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum's Coastal Exploration group had a wonderful time last week exploring Marion's shoreline, inland wetlands and woodland areas. We collected examples of plankton, caught fish and frogs in our nets, investigated tide pools and took trips to Bird and Ram Island.
