Summer Reading Program38 viewsAs a kickoff to the summer reading program at the Elizabeth Taber Library and summer Natural History Museum programming, the Town of Marion was treated to a visit from a full-size whale, two very large dinosaurs and one baby dino named Spike. The Summer Block Party event held on June 24 started inside the Music Hall due to weather but later moved outside. The event also featured faux archeology digs and face painting. Marion Natural History Museum38 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum would like to thank Andrew Griffith and his wife Lauren of the Massachusetts Butterfly Club for leading our May 10 walk. The museum's community group members had learned about our local butterflies and identified some of the host plants they rely on.
