Marion Natural History Museum 14 viewsLast week, the Marion Natural History Museum welcomed Bethany Jakubson of Amazing Animal Ambassadors. Bethany brought in some of her most adorable mammals, including a Fennec Fox (native to Africa), a Tenrec (native to Madagascar), a Hedgehog named Peter Quill, a Chinchilla and a skunk. JP Powel14 viewsCompleted on September 28, 2012, JP Powel’s painting, “Open Door, Mica Mansion” is the 24x18-inch, oil-on-canvas work that first greets visitors to his collection of paintings now on display at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library.
