The event, sponsored by the Rochester Fire Department, saw contestants build boats and race south along the Mattapoisett River. Lions Club Easter Egg Bingo Hunt 90 viewsChildren had fun at Saturday’s Lions Club Easter Egg Bingo Hunt at Arch of the Meadow, located at the former airfield on Mendell Road in Rochester. Old Rochester Youth Baseball League90 viewsThe first Opening Day since 2019 brought out Old Rochester Youth Baseball League players and their families on Saturday morning in Rochester. A parade began at the Dexter Lane baseball complex and made its way to Gifford Park, where ORYB’s David Arancio recognized the many years of service from Derek Mello, Peter Vieira and David Nelson, who all threw ceremonial first pitches.
