Bristol County Radio Control Club 101 viewsMembers of the Bristol County Radio Control Club gathered on August 20 at Mary's Pond in Rochester for the annual fun fly of radio-controlled pontoon airplanes. Nationally, there are several thousand recognized clubs engaged in the activity, said Ned Watts, an avid pilot of the Styrofoam craft. ORR Spirit Week101 viewsThe culmination of Old Rochester Regional High School’s Spirit Week was a pep rally held after October 7 classes in the gymnasium. ORR sophomores performed a Wizard of Oz skit, and the ORR Bulldog joined Dorothy and company. The seniors displayed a "Back in Time/Back to the Future" theme, featuring a cleverly constructed “Delorean,” a colorful aerobics class, lots of action and energetic music with Marty McFly and Doc Brown characters joined by the heroic Bulldog.

Halloween Parade101 viewsThe streets of Marion were flooded with Halloween Parade participants and attendees, as members of the Sippican Elementary School Band helped the “witches” of the Marion Art Center lead a procession that began at the Music Hall and went down Front Street, up Main Street past the Elizabeth Taber statue and onto Spring Street, where children were met at Town House by staff members handing out candy for the kids.
