The rain couldn't dampen holiday spirits as visitors enjoyed delicious food and listened to Christmas music performed by the Showstoppers. Mom's Marathon '07490 viewsAn estimated 400 runners and walkers came out to the Oxford Creamery in Mattapoisett on Sunday, May 13 to participate in the first annual Tiara Classic Mother’s Day 5K Road Race. The most impressive feat of the day was accomplished by runner Mary Cass (above) who won the women’s portion of the race, outdistancing the competition by several hundred feet while pushing her daughters, Acadia and Naomi, in a jogging stroller.
