John Magnan132 viewsMattapoisett resident and wood sculptor John Magnan's installation featured in the UMass Law School in Dartmouth lobby is based on the theme of justice for all and the hope of justice, understanding and inclusion. The pieces, impressive for their size and beauty as drawn together under the title of the Arc of Justice, demonstrate Magnan's superior artistic skills and humanitarian sensibilities. On the Beach132 viewsHeather MacGregor took this cute photo of her dog Skunk on a walk on February 2 down at the town wharf. Skunk loves to go down there and look for shells the seagulls have dropped and to look for fish. Even the windy conditions didn't stop him.

132 viewsThe Marion Museum of Natural History would like to thank Karen Alves Cronin and our volunteer parents for the wonderful program March 15. First, Karen showed us how gravity and a simple bucket suspended on a line and filled with paint can produce beautiful paintings. The students painted their canvases with a colorful background and then placed them under the suspended bucket pendulum. When filled with paint and rotated over the canvases.
