Tinkhamtown Chapel Christmas Choir Sing-Along56 viewsThe 70th annual Tinkhamtown Chapel Christmas Choir Sing-Along. Smiles and merriment abound in this small but cozy and inviting environment. Not a free pew was seen and all smiled. The chapel was built in 1889 and has been maintained by locals who care deeply for its continued standing and operation. Though I had never been, I felt embraced, comfortable, and at home. Photos by Sam Bishop.

Marion Natural History Museum56 viewsAfter learning how to build a snake hibernaculum, a beaver lodge, and a bear den, the group tried their hand at creating miniatures for museum display. The beaver lodge was tested to see if it held water back and still kept the lodge dry inside. It was a huge success! Feel free to come in to view any of these creations during the museum’s open hours. Photo courtesy Elizabeth Leidhold.
