Tri-Town Against Racism146 viewsThe Town of Rochester received a Little Diverse Free Library on June 17 when members of Tri-Town Against Racism performed a ribbon-cutting and associated Juneteenth celebration at Plumb Library. The ribbon was cut by Owen Excellent, and guest speaker Leon Correy spoke to overcoming struggles and the need for equity for all people. One tradition well established the past half-dozen years was the sunflower in the outer harbor, where several vessels tied up to one another at the stern and aimed their bows outward toward the sea in 360-degree formation.
