Basketball Bonanza Fundraiser569 viewsOn March 20, Sippican Elementary School's sixth-graders narrowly defeated the teacher-parent team at their Basketball Bonanza Fundraiser for their annual Three-Day Appalachian Mountain Classroom (AMC) field trip. At the game, the students were elated when two area businesses each presented a check for over $600. Cape Verde Islands569 viewsOn a recent trip to Cape Verde Islands, Demi Barros and three of his granddaughters (Jerei Braxton, Jayci Barros, & Kia Barros), niece Leah Barros, and cousin Anna Pina, took a day to climb the volcanic 10,000-foot mountain “Pico Do Fogo” on the island of Fogo, Cape Verde and brought The Wanderer along for the journey.
