Cross-country Run87 viewsGraham Correia completed his cross-country run from Denver, Colorado, to Massachusetts on Sunday, March 13, at his parents’ home in North Rochester where he was greeted by his parents Gary and Robin and dozens of family members and friends from various times and places in his life. Brownie Girl Scout Troop 86 viewsBrownie Girl Scout Troop 67047 hiked the Sippican Land Trust Osprey walk in Marion on Sunday. Ms. Jerline used her Nature Anatomy book to help the girls identify plants. Ms. Liz and Ms. Alda helped the girls carry a tune as they learned three new songs for their Girl Scout Way badge. Ms. Tia helped remind them to maintain their 6 feet of distance with her yardstick and keep their masks on— they did so well! We welcomed a new girl from Acushnet.

Volunteers representing the Marion Police Department, Police Brotherhood, and Sippican School (VASE) welcomed a parade of vehicles of families dropping off a variety of Christmas gifts for cookies and cupcakes. Well, the 3rd Annual Beer and Oyster Festival hosted by the Sippican Lands Trust, of course. This year’s event was held on September 18 on the grounds of the Cushing Community Center in Marion.
