Andrew Daniel, Rochester facilities manager who was instrumental in bringing the petition to Nelson’s attention, and Dexter’s sister Debbie Townsend both shared words with the packed house that turned out in Dexter’s honor.

Well, the 3rd Annual Beer and Oyster Festival hosted by the Sippican Lands Trust, of course. This year’s event was held on September 18 on the grounds of the Cushing Community Center in Marion.
