Oyster Festival87 viewsWhat do you get when you mix good music with good foods like pizza and oysters washed down with beer? Well, the 3rd Annual Beer and Oyster Festival hosted by the Sippican Lands Trust, of course. This year’s event was held on September 18 on the grounds of the Cushing Community Center in Marion. Christmas Swim87 viewsKate Butler was last to arrive but last one out of the water after two dozen people braved the cold, raw elements of the 2021 Christmas morning swim held December 25 at Mattapoisett Town Beach. The event was held for the benefit of Helping Hands and Hooves, a program run by Julie Craig and Debbie Dyson that offers experiences, especially horseback riding, to people with cognitive challenges who have aged out of the many children's programs.
