Boys & Girls State83 viewsOver the past week, seven students from the Old Rochester Class of 2022 attended the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary's annual Boys & Girls State program. This prestigious program selects students from across the commonwealth to study civics, electoral politics, law, and a variety of other topics. The program serves to educate these future voters on the critical role they will serve in their post-college careers and to promote healthier civic participation.

Arts in the Park83 viewsSeveral hundred people came out to enjoy the annual Arts in the Park fundraiser hosted by the Marion Art Center on July 10. Forty artists who had been invited by a MAC jury to participate featured their crafts and art objects. The jury ensures the quality of the items on display and also gives up-and-coming artisans a platform to showcase their work.
