With assistance from his son Gavin, Mr. Garell showed off some of Spot's "training" and capabilities. The demonstration was the culmination of a series of projects during which Grade 6 students took on a challenge from NASA to design robotic devices with specific functions. A row of different Town-owned vehicles including a police cruiser, ambulance, earth diggers, a fire engine, and fire trucks lined the Town House field.
