Special Olympics Young Athletes184 viewsRoughly 120 Tabor Academy students volunteered on January 10 to assist with the school’s first session of the Special Olympics Young Athletes™ program held at Tabor. The program offers children ages 3-7 with intellectual and developmental disabilities opportunities to engage in physical activities vital to mental and physical growth. Alumni Basketball184 viewsThe Old Rochester Regional High School alumni and the ORR boys’ and girls’ basketball teams shared a couple of friendly games of basketball on March 29 during the 2nd annual Old Rochester Regional Hall of Fame Alumni Hoops Classic. Kids Equipment Fun Day184 viewsSaturday, May 7, was the date for the annual Kids Equipment Fun Day at Washburn Park in Marion, sponsored by Marion Recreation. The kids climbed aboard ambulances, fire trucks, police cruisers, and even the harbormaster’s boat. This year, the day marked Kleimann’s last day at RMS as she is retiring after 31 years. Kleimann is best known for directing the Shakespeare plays at RMS and for orchestrating the student send-off every summer.
