The pop-up sale at the clubhouse, 152 Front Street, is held on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the proceeds funding Marion student scholarships. The Illuminate to Educate fundraiser replaces the Holiday House Tour that was cancelled due to COVID-19. The Marion community is encouraged to light up our streets in celebration of Independence Day Holiday.

The town enjoyed a beautiful Monday evening and a large turnout, as children gathered on the steps of Town Hall to sing carols, and Santa Claus arrived with a Fire Department escort to hand out candy canes. The Lions were collecting non-perishable food and unwrapped new toys to distribute to those in need during the holiday. Freezin' for a Reason 2014223 viewsParticipants in the 2014 Polar Plunge on January 1 were encouraged to wear costumes for the event, which raised thousands of dollars for the BAM Foundation. BAM is an organization that offers financial assistance to families battling cancer to help offset the unexpected costs of cancer treatment. Hundreds of people turned out for the event, with over a hundred participants who plunged into 34 degree waters, just a few degrees warmer than the 28 degree air temperature that morning.
