In their latest exhibit, the museum is asking the public to help solve the mystery each of the pictures represents. Each black and white or colorized image is a mini-mystery waiting to be solved. Marion Fire Department173 viewsThe Marion Fire Department celebrated the careers of three of its retiring firefighters on November 8. Deputy Chiefs William Scott, Charles Blanchette, and Scott Cowell were toasted (and roasted) by Marion Fire Chief Thomas Joyce before family and friends at the Marion VFW Saturday night. The wives of MacDougal and Blanchette, and the daughter of Cowell, attached new deputy chief badges on the three gentlemen during the pinning ceremony, and the three selectmen honored the retiring chiefs with gifts.

Breakfast with Santa173 viewsMarion’s Police Brotherhood held its 3rd annual toy drive and pancake breakfast with Santa at Sippican School on December 6. Families were asked to bring new unwrapped toys, and in return they were given a delicious pancake breakfast and a photo with Santa.
