Rochester Lions Club233 viewsThe school gave a “giant thank you” to the Rochester Lions Club for the donation of a brand new vision screener to replace the one the Lions Club donated to the school 44 years ago (below, right). School Nurse Michelle Humphrey showed her gratitude by asking students at Old Colony to create a small plaque thanking the Lions Club to be affixed to the side of the vision screener. On April 12, families gathered at Ned’s Point to celebrate Easter early with a traditional Easter egg hunt, sponsored by the Mattapoisett Lions Club. Sippican Schooner 5k and Mini Fun Run 233 views Sunday, May 4 was a perfect day for a fun run through Marion, and about 200 people turned out to participate in VASE’s second annual Sippican Schooner 5k and Mini Fun Run to raise money for educational programs at Sippican Elementary School.
