Seniors Appreciation at Center School200 viewsOne of the highlights of the third-grade school year, students dressed up as famous Americans and treated senior citizens from the Council on Aging to a senior citizen appreciation breakfast the morning of June 6. Lighten Up200 viewsThird-graders on June 16 performed their play “Lighten Up,” donning rainbow wigs, gigantic glasses, tutus, and brightly colored mustaches to remind everyone to not take themselves so seriously all the time. Tabor Academy’s Oyster Farm200 viewsTabor Academy’s oyster farm is like a marine biology lab by the sea, providing students with hands-on learning experience. Mattapoisett Historical Museum Photos200 viewsThe Mattapoisett Historical Museum is in possession of hundreds of photographs dating from the 1800s to as recently as the 1980s bearing images of people and places from Mattapoisett, but lacking identification. In their latest exhibit, the museum is asking the public to help solve the mystery each of the pictures represents. Each black and white or colorized image is a mini-mystery waiting to be solved.
