Rochester Road Race215 viewsThere were 225 runners who competed in the 9th Annual Rochester Road Race on August 9 to raise money and collect food for The Food Pantry at Damien’s Place in Wareham. Mattapoisett Historical Museum Photos215 viewsThe Mattapoisett Historical Museum is in possession of hundreds of photographs dating from the 1800s to as recently as the 1980s bearing images of people and places from Mattapoisett, but lacking identification. In their latest exhibit, the museum is asking the public to help solve the mystery each of the pictures represents. Each black and white or colorized image is a mini-mystery waiting to be solved. Classic Cars215 viewsClassic car enthusiasts from the area gathered Monday nights throughout the summer, riding up in their shiny antique cars and pulling up a lawn chair to sit back and reminisce about the good old days to the sounds of music from the ‘50s and ‘60s.
