Karilon Babbit Grainger inherited it from her aunt, and has now donated the dollhouse to the Marion Natural History Museum for all to enjoy. The fantastic structure is just perfect for the imaginative play of our visitors, children and adults alike. Working lights, beautiful furniture, and many minute details make this item a fun way to spend some time playing at the museum.

The storm brought strong wind and cold rain to the area, especially at the turn around Ned’s Point Lighthouse, dampening the day but not the sentiment behind the Women’s Fund of Southeastern Massachusetts’ largest annual fundraising event. Mattapoisett Museum207 viewsThe Mattapoisett Museum opened its Summer 2019 exhibit on June 27 titled “Inspiration: Time & Texture.” Local artists, including members of Center School’s third grade class, created works of art inspired by objects in the museum or of historical significance to the town.
