Santa’s boat docked at the Marion Wharf where the faces of hundreds of children lit up at his arrival. Santa boarded a horse-drawn carriage and paraded through the streets, passing businesses offering free goodies and dodging the whereabouts of that old Grinch who didn’t seem to mind Christmas coming at all this year. Extreme Engineering227 viewsOn Tuesday, July 31, dozens of curious students gathered at the Mattapoisett Library to join Dr. Martin Hudis in his Extreme Engineering program. The students participated in a variety of different exercises using remote controlled helicopters in a hands-on approach to learn valuable lessons in math and science.
