Dry Harvest212 viewsIt’s cranberry season in Southeastern Massachusetts. With drought conditions, dry harvesting the berries has started largely unaffected by the lack of water thus far, but bog flooding later in the season could be affected if water sources are not replenished with rain. Paula and Dana Johnson of Rochester are in the midst of their dry pick, circling the bogs, one after the other, day in and day out with their mechanical Furfords and burlap sacks to harvest the cranberries fit for fresh fruit sale.

He graduated in 1994 from U.S. Military Academy and achieved successive ranks to become a full colonel in 2015. The officers raised over $1,500 letting their facial hair grow out, a no-no for the rest of the year for the officers.
