“The Machine” Jesse Green227 viewsFamous chainsaw artist and star of the National Geographic Channel TV show American Chainsaw, “The Machine” Jesse Green presented the RMS students with a one-of-a-kind chainsaw sculpture of Bandit, the RMS mascot, on December 15. Pinewood Derby227 viewsCub Scouts Pack 30 held its annual Pinewood Derby on Saturday, January 13 at Rochester Memorial School. The pinewood derby is a tradition that was started back in 1963 in Manhattan Beach, California and persists to this day. Tabor Academy Polar Plunge227 viewsTabor Academy hosted its second annual Polar Plunge on Sunday, January 21 at Silvershell Beach to raise money for the school’s Special Olympics Young Athletes Program. Students from ‘fundraising rival’ Sandwich High also showed up, with scores of students and staff making a dash in and quickly out of the chilly waters. The plunge raised about $8,000.
