Two categories – professional establishment and public safety – competed for best judged chowder and people’s choice. BBC Watershed Ride279 viewsThis Sunday, October 2, the 10th Annual Buzzards Bay Coalition Watershed Ride wound its way through Tri-Town, making a stop at Eastover Farm for lunch along the way. Octopurrfest279 viewsThe Rochester cat shelter “It’s All About the Animals” held its 2nd Annual Octopurrfest on Sunday, October 2. Raising over $7,000, owner/operator Pam Robinson said this year’s event was “absolutely over the top!” The shelter is in the process of building an addition to create a cat room and a porch. “I cannot thank everyone enough for their wonderful donation and participation,” said Robinson. Christmas Baskets279 viewsOn Tuesday, December 20, Rochester Facilities Manager Andrew Daniel was tying perfect Christmas bows to top off gift baskets for Rochester families purchased with donations from Town Hall staff and town boards and committees. Four families this year will receive a Christmas meal in a basket thanks to the efforts of all at Town Hall. Altogether $1,400 was raised at Town Hall, with half going to the gift baskets and the other half towards other town Christmas charities. Photos by Jean Perry
