It’s the holiday season in Rochester now that the tree is lit followed by the arrival of jolly old Saint Nick via fire engine on December 4 to usher in the holiday season. Holiday in the Park321 viewsIt looked like another record turnout at Shipyard Park in Mattapoisett on December 9 for the annual Holiday in the Park and tree lighting. Sayonara, School! 321 viewsDark clouds and raindrops couldn’t dampen the spirits of students and teachers on June 25 when Rochester Memorial School said farewell until next September. Bandleader Chris Williamson, along with teachers and Principal Derek Medeiros, sent the students on their way with the traditional rousing music.
